Morning
 Have you ever heard before this statement, 旱上吃得好,中午吃得饱,晚上吃得少 (Eat healthily in the morning, Eat full in the noontime, Eat less at night) ? Unfortunately, our typical Singaporean breakfast like Nasi Lemak, Roti Prata, Ba Chow Mee, are all high in calories and carbohydrates! No wonder Singaporeans are all growing in size!

Step 1

Question : Have you tried losing weight before Herbalife?

Yes!! I have tried many methods to lose weight before since young but no success until I met Herbalife. I have tried exercising, dieting, slimming tea and slimming pills. I managed to lose 1-2 kgs, but the weight bounced back 2-5 kgs after that. 

Question : Why did you started with Herbalife program?
I was introduced to Herbalife, after clicking to an online advertisement. I came to their studio, & I saw a femake basketball player, losing weight from 70kgs to 50kgs. If she can do it, why not I? Thus, I told myself to give a chance. Since I have tried almost all of weight loss methods in the World, why not give Herbalife a try too? There's no harm trying. If I never try, I will never know whether will it works in my body.
I was lucky that my coach was organising Weight Loss Contest when I first started with Herbalife. The contest further spur me to be more discipline in my diet, for every meals I consumed, I was very careful not to overeat, & I took extra effort to make sure I would take the products seriously. With the discipline & consistency within 6 weeks, I lost 6kgs, & won first prize in the contest! 

Question : There is a rumour, if you stop consuming Herbalife, you will start to gain weight again. How true is that?
Well, it depends on individual. If you have your own way to maintain your weight after weight loss, that's great! However, if you start going back to your normal eating habit which result you to be fat before weight loss, there is a high chance that you will gain back your weight. This is because you are what you eat. 
One reason why I love Herbalife, is that now I know how I can maintain my weight for the rest of my life. Herbalife make my weight maintenence very simple. Every morning, I will blend myself a very nice nutrition F1 shakes for my breakfast. Low in calories, High in nutrition, I think this is the best way to start my day! Throughout the day, I will drink at least 2 litres of Herbal Tea, & that will keep my metabolism and energy high. If I over-eat for the day, I will add Herbal Aloe & Celluloss in my diet for the next subsequent days, & at times, follow a 2 F1 Shakes a day diet. I have maintained my shape for last 2 years. If I can do it, why not you?

Question : What is your advice for those girls who want to lose weight badly?
Always be open to new ideas and give yourself a chance. When you say NO to something, you are not saying NO to them, but you are saying NO to yourself. The World is always full with hope and opportunity. Why do you limit yourself with options? Afterall, life is always about options. I highly encourage you to get on the Herbalife products if you are looking for a safe and effective weight loss. Herbalife does not only help in weight loss, it also help in overall improvements i.e. face complexion. Herbalife also helped to improve my hereditary asthma and skin eczema. I no longer need to carry my inhaler with me all the time.

How Much Fat Should You Eat?

I have a long list of questions I’m asked all the time but are hard to answer. Last week I was asked – for what seemed the umpteenth time – another question that I’m adding to my list: “How much fat should I eat”? The answer, as you may have guessed, is “it depends” – or, sometimes, the equally vague “as little as possible”. That’s because specific recommendations for fat intake are often expressed as a percentage of calories – as in, “no more than 25% of your calories should come from fat”.

For most people, that’s not terribly useful, since it requires that they

a) know how many calories they should be eating;

b) multiply that number by 25% to figure out how many calories from fat they should be eating; and finally,

c) divide the answer obtained in step b) by 9 – since there are 9 calories in a gram of fat – to figure out how many fat grams they should eat per day.

If you want to try figure all that out, it’s up to you – but I think there’s an easier way.

Rather than focusing on a specific target and counting your daily fat grams, you can just follow these guidelines for a low fat diet instead. If you do, it’s a pretty safe bet that you’ll be in the ballpark of “25% of calories from fat” – and there’s no calculator required.

  • Stay away from deep fried foods – like French fries, snack chips and crispy fried meats, fish, and veggies. Obvious, yes, but eliminating fried foods and greasy snack foods cuts a huge amount of fat out of your diet. 
  • Use nutrition labels to help you find low fat packaged items like cookies, crackers, breads, muffins and cereals. 
  • Use low fat versions of salad dressings, cheeses, milk, yogurt, mayonnaise, sour cream and ice cream. 
  • Eat more poultry breast, fish, shellfish, egg whites, nonfat dairy products and soy products for protein; they have much less fat than steaks, ground meats and sausage.  
  • Reduce the fats you use in cooking. Saute in broth or wine instead of oil, replace part of the fat in baked goods with yogurt or applesauce, and season foods with herbs, spices, lemon, onions, garlic, chilis and other seasonings rather than relying on heavy sauces, gravies and butter. 
  • When you eat out, order meats, fish or poultry grilled, broiled, poached, roasted or baked. If the starchy part of the meal is likely to be fatty, you can skip it altogether and have double vegetables instead. 
  • Have fresh fruit or sorbet for dessert rather than pastries and ice cream, and ditch the snack chips in favor of raw veggies and fresh fruits.
